General Information:
Residing in the City of Mesquite since 1979, John, and his wife Alice, have five children and eight grandchildren. The Monaco’s moved to Texas so that John could take advantage of a professional career opportunity. They chose the City of Mesquite because of the many advantages it offered their family. Three of their five children attended and have graduated from Mesquite schools.
Professional:
Prior to his retirement, John enjoyed a 27-year career as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner during which period he enjoyed both clinical and administrative assignments. In 1992, while on staff at Children's Medical Center of Dallas, John attended the U.T. Southwestern Medical School completing specialized curriculum related to life support (ECMO) for newborns and pediatric patients.
